URGENTE: Pesquisadores aplicam ‘overdose’ em 81 pacientes ‘cobaias’ com Covid-19 em Manaus
Manaus / Um experimento extremamente imprudente, realizado no Brasil e intitulado como “ensaio clínico” sobre o uso de cloroquina em pacientes com coronavírus chinês (SARS-CoV-2), foi publicado no sábado (11) no medRxiv, um servidor on-line de artigos médicos antes de ser submetido à revisão por outros pesquisadores. Os pesquisadores usaram alta dosagem de cloroquina (CQ), na tentativa de demonstrar que a hidroxicloroquina (HCQ) “não é um medicamento seguro”.
O experimento realizado foi de tamanha irresponsabilidade por usar pacientes como cobaias.
O experimento envolveu 81 pacientes hospitalizados com o covid-19 no Hospital e Pronto Socorro Delphina Rinaldi Abdel Aziz, na cidade de Manaus. E aparentemente, ele foi financiado com verbas federais alocadas por senadores no Brasil.
Envolvidos
Segundo a declaração de financiamento publicada no medRxiv, o “estudo” foi financiado pelo Governo do Estado do Amazonas e patrocinado pela Fundação de Medicina Tropical Dr. Heitor Vieira Dourado, Farmanguinhos (Fiocruz), SUFRAMA, CAPES, FAPEAM e fundos federais concedidos por uma coalizão de senadores brasileiros. Na parte de “agradecimentos” do estudo, aparecem os nomes dos senadores: Eduardo Braga (MDB) e Eduardo Gomes (Solidariedade).

Alta dosagem
Como as diretrizes nacionais do Brasil recomendam o uso de hidroxicloroquina em combinação com azitromicina e o sulfato de zinco em pacientes com coronavírus chinês, os “pesquisadores” disseram que incluir um placebo em seu estudo – considerado a melhor maneira de avaliar um medicamento – era uma “impossibilidade”.
Os “pesquisadores” utilizaram um alta dosagem de difosfato de cloroquina: 900 mg e 1.200 mg por 5 dias, que é 3 vezes mais do que a dosagem recomendada. Nota-se que os “pesquisadores” utilizaram o difosfato de cloroquina (CQ), uma versão menos segura e mais cardio-tóxica do que a hidroxicloroquina (HCQ).
