O Conselho Nacional de Segurança (NSC) dos Estados Unidos usou suas redes sociais para comentar, na noite desse domingo(24), para comentar a proibição da entrada de estrangeiros vindos do Brasil em seu território. A medida, anunciada pela tarde, é válida para viajantes que não são norte-americanos e foi tomada após o Brasil se tornar o segundo país com maior número de pessoas infectadas pelo novo coronavírus.
“O Brasil é um dos nossos parceiros mundiais mais fortes. Donald Trump implementou restrições temporárias a estrangeiros vindos do Brasil para a proteção compartilhada de nossas populações contra a covid-19, similares às restrições já adotadas em relação a outros países”, diz o texto.
“A administração doará 1.000 ventiladores para ajudar o Brasil em suas necessidades médicas. Os Estados Unidos reconhecem os fortes esforços que o governo brasileiro tem tomado e irão brevemente fortalecer nossa parceria na Defesa e no comércio.”
