China estabelece relações com o Afeganistão e sinaliza apoio ao Talibã
“Já está claro que os chineses vão negociar com os talibãs”, disse um especialista.
Cientistas que estudam a geopolítica no Oriente Médio observam que a China já acenou para o novo governo no Afeganistão e dizem que a relação entre os dois países pode ser amistosa.
“Estamos vendo algumas mudanças importantes. O grupo que foi derrubado pelos Estados Unidos há 20 anos está agora virando governo e, inclusive, sendo reconhecido por alguns países, como é o caso da China”, disse Fernando Luz Brancoli, pesquisador e professor do Instituto de Relações Internacionais e Defesa da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
“Já está claro que os chineses vão negociar com os talibãs”, apontou. Ele explica que a porta-voz da diplomacia chinesa, Hua Chunying, disse que o país respeita o direito do povo afegão de decidir seu próprio destino e que deseja manter relações amistosas e de cooperação com o Afeganistão.
Relações entre o Talibã e a China
A China tem a tradição de se aliar com qualquer grupo que esteja no poder, desde que seus interesses sejam preservados. Mas há duas boas razões para que os chineses se aproximem de um futuro governo do Talibã, de acordo com O Antagonista.
A primeira é que a ditadura comunista investiu em projetos de infraestrutura da Nova Rota da Seda no Afeganistão. Além disso, a China não quer que o Afeganistão se torne um refúgio para os uigures muçulmanos, que são perseguidos dentro da ditadura.
Os dois países dividem uma curta fronteira de 76 quilômetros numa das regiões mais sensíveis da China — a província de Xinjiang — onde a minoria uigur vive. Por temer que o Talibã fomente movimentos separatistas, a China busca manter relações extraoficiais com o grupo radical.
De acordo com A Folha de S. Paulo, no fim de julho, o Ministro das Relações Exteriores da China, Wang Yi, encontrou-se com o líder do Talibã, o mulá Abdu Ghani Baradar, em Tianjin, com direito a fotos oficiais.
Na ocasião, a China conseguiu arrancar do grupo o compromisso de que não apoiaria os militantes uigures e em troca ofereceu apoio econômico e investimento na reconstrução do país.
Outra observação do professor é a importância de ter cautela para as promessas de moderação do Talibã. “Eles estão dizendo que vão moderar e ser menos brutais do que foram na década de 90. Fico parcialmente desconfiado”, disse Brancoli.
A forma de governar do Talibã está muito pautada em práticas de violência e controle. Então, considerando seu histórico, até que ponto eles conseguem pensar a organização do país de outra maneira? Vamos ter que esperar para ver, mas acho que essa moderação é meramente discursiva”, continuou.
Como os cristãos são tratados no Afeganistão e na China
Os dois países são classificados como “perseguidores de cristãos”, de acordo com a Portas Abertas.
O Afeganistão está em 2º lugar na Lista Mundial da Perseguição e a China em 17º. Os dois governos tratam os seguidores do cristianismo com total hostilidade.
A diferença é que na China prevalece o ateísmo, comum em governos comunistas, enquanto no Afeganistão prevalece o islamismo.
Seja como for, as duas nações têm em comum o combate violento ao cristianismo, incluindo isolamento social, prisões, torturas e até pena de morte. As duas formas de ditadura são moldadas pela opressão e paranoia ditatorial.
