Mesmo correndo risco de vida, Roberto Jefferson recebe alta e retornou à prisão
O presidente nacional do PTB, Roberto Jefferson, deixou hoje (14) à tarde o Hospital Samaritano Barra, na zona oeste da cidade, escoltado pela Polícia Federal. Ele estava internado desde o início de setembro com um quadro de infecção urinária e dores na lombar. Jefferson foi submetido também a um cateterismo para desobstrução de uma artéria.
Ontem (13), o ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), decidiu que Jefferson deveria deixar o hospital e voltar ao presídio Bangu 8, no Complexo de Gericinó, depois de receber alta hospitalar. Para o ministro, “a prisão deve ser mantida para a garantia da ordem pública e o devido prosseguimento do processo”.
Jefferson teve a prisão preventiva decretada no dia 13 de agosto, por determinação de Moraes por suposta participação em uma organização criminosa que atuaria para desestabilizar a democracia e divulgar mentiras sobre ministros do STF.
Em 4 de setembro, Moraes havia autorizado a transferência de Jefferson da prisão para um hospital particular para que fosse submetido a tratamento médico.
O advogado de defesa, Luiz Gustavo Cunha, disse que o plenário virtual do STF julga de amanhã (15) a 22 de outubro um habeas corpus de Jefferson questionando a prisão preventiva. O relator do pedido é o ministro Edson Fachin.
