VERGONHA: UNE investigada por compra de bebidas com verba destinada à cultura!
Representantes da UNE teriam aplicado de forma indevida parte do R$ 1,5 milhão que deveria ser empregado na promoção de atividades culturais.
O Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) está analisando a prestação de contas que coloca em suspeição a “boa-fé” da cúpula da União Nacional dos Estudantes (UNE).
A entidade estudantil é alvo de processo no TCU por usar recursos públicos oriundos de convênios com o extinto Ministério da Cultura para bancar festas, bebidas e pagar contas domésticas.
Em um dos casos sob análise, representantes da UNE aplicaram de forma indevida parte do R$ 1,5 milhão que deveria ser empregado na promoção de atividades culturais para comprar uísque, cerveja, vodca, vinho, isotônicos, energéticos, chocolates e produtos de higiene pessoal.
Na prestação de contas, os líderes da UNE não se deram ao trabalho de camuflar as irregularidades. Os líderes estudantis entregaram notas fiscais de produtos que nada tinham a ver com o objetivo dos eventos.
“Teria sido melhor não apresentar nada do que apresentar isso”, ressaltou o relator do processo, ministro Benjamin Zymler.
O julgamento referente ao caso foi suspenso devido a pedido de vista do ministro Vital do Rêgo, que solicitou, na última quarta-feira (2), prazo extra para analisar melhor as irregularidades.
Por isso, o processo ainda não se tornou público. Mas o site Metrópoles teve acesso a trechos das apurações e conversou com ao menos três membros do plenário do TCU, sob condição de anonimato.
De acordo com o site, todos disseram que irão votar pela reprovação das contas da UNE e pedir o ressarcimento de R$ 1,4 milhão aos cofres públicos
